Defense of master's degrees in mediation and conflict resolution

Defense of master’s degrees at KROK Business School is always a special event, and when it comes to such an important field as mediation and conflict resolution, it becomes even more interesting.

On February 27-28, 2024, the thesis defense of students of the Master of Mediation and Conflict Resolution program took place, where our graduates demonstrated not only their knowledge and skills in mediation, but also confirmed a deep understanding of the essence and significance of alternative methods of conflict resolution in general.

Each student presented research, analysis of practical situations, development of innovative methods of the mediation process in their thesis - each project was unique and interesting.

The basic research of the students covered many relevant spheres of life - from the study of mediation in the activity of courts and the IT sphere - to the study of mediation as a form of solving public-law disputes and, in general, as a marker of changes in corporate culture in Ukrainian companies. The students' research touched on sensitive topics for our society - how mediation helps to resolve conflicts in the corporate environment, which are caused by war.

Exciting discussions took place, during which graduates exchanged experiences and ideas, expanding their knowledge in the field of alternative dispute resolution. The attestation commission of Krok Business School noted the high level of training of students and their scientific research in the field of mediation. It should also be noted that such companies as Ukrzaliznytsia, Nova Poshta, European Business Association, DTEK, DELL Ukraine will introduce alternative dispute resolution tools in their companies.

We sincerely congratulate our students on the successful defense of their theses! We are proud of our graduates and wish them success in the development of mediation as an alternative form of conflict resolution. And let scientific research and theses become an important contribution to the development of this dynamic field, helping people find peaceful and constructive ways to resolve conflicts and change, in general, the culture of dispute resolution.
