Jan van Zwieten is the founder and rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, professor, specialist in mediation and conflict resolution, negotiations, and personality development. Author of the books "How to measure and develop your personality" and "Talent trainer". Has a large number of international certifications such as DISC, MBTI, WAVE, etc. Since 2002, he has been an active registered mediator. In total, he conducted about 1,600 mediations. From 2010 to 2022, Jan van Zwieten held the position of chairman of the council of Dutch mediators. In carrying out these duties, he helped mediation become a full-grown profession, equal to other professions like lawyers and psychologists.
In his role as founder and rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, a fully accredited Dutch university for applied sciences, he developed the “Master Mediation” educational program. This program was used as a basis for several international projects, such as the EU MEDIATS project for 10 Universities of Ukraine, Georgia and Azerbaijan, one of whose partners and participants was the KROK Business School.
