Participation Oksana Demchenko in International Management Teachers Academy (IMTA)

For two weeks from 13 to 24 June 2022 was held the 21st International Academy of Teacher Development (IMTA - International Management Teachers Academy) in the beautiful city of Bled, Slovenia, the event is traditionally organized by CEEMAN - International Association for Management Development. This year, Oksana Demchenko, an instructor and business coach at KROK Business School, was a participant of the International Academy among 20 participants from 11 countries. The goal of IMTA, the main European faculty development program, is to meet the need for faculty development in management education and leadership development in dynamic societies. "IMTA is a creative response to the growing need for high-quality education for new generations of professors who will educate new generations of effective and responsible leaders," said Professor Danica Purg, President of CEEMAN and the IEDC-Bled School of Management.

The teaching staff of IMTA consists of professors who have worked in leading international educational institutions and seek to pass on their knowledge to a new generation of instructors.

As Danica Purg points out, “I am always proud when our participants tell me that after finishing our programs, they have also become better people. This time I was especially touched when Oksana Demchenko, a representative of KROK Business School from Ukraine, shared her feelings during the program. I dare to share them with you and wish all people who are going through the war to hope for a better future! And be safe in Kiev, dear Oksana! As Oksana Demchenko noted - “In general, this is my first visit to Slovenia, and I fell in love. For me, being in Bled is like a breath of fresh air. This opportunity, at least for a short time, to be disconnected from the war. Of course, I always think about my country's victory and how we will continue to teach MBA students new cases at KROK Business School. My dream is to write and submit to IEDC - School of Management in Bled cases on how Ukrainian business survived the war, what strategies we build, how we change processes. And I am very grateful to each member of our group for their attentive conversations on sensitive topics and their support. Bled, IMTA 2022 gave me energy, strength to continue to live, believe and work. I will never forget this experience. "

The staff of KROK Business School is grateful to CEEMAN - International Association for Management Development for financial support, which allowed Oksana Demchenko, an instructor of KROK Business School, a representative of Ukraine to take part in this year's IMTA
