Olga Karpova, CEO of KROK Business School, Participated in the Annual EFMD Deans and Directors Conference

From June 9-11, 2024, the annual conference of deans and directors of the world's leading business schools, organized by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), took place in Bologna, Italy. The theme of this year's conference was "Navigating Geopolitical Tensions, Harnessing AI, and Fostering a Human-Centric Future".

Olga Karpova, the Director of KROK Business School, participated in the event. She joined over 600 representatives of business schools from 6 continents and more than 80 countries to discuss current issues in the field of business education.

The key topics of the conference included:

  • From Borders to Biospheres: Rethinking International Relations for a Sustainable Future

The conference featured distinguished speakers such as

 Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari (Italy), Kevin Scott, Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft (USA), Romano Prodi, former President of the EU and Chair of BBS (Italy), Alec Ross, Distinguished Professor at BBS and former Senior Advisor in the Obama administration (USA), Paolo Benanti, Professor of Theology and Ethics, Robotics and AI, Advisor to the Pope and Member of the UN AI Commission (Italy), and Jennifer Howard-Grenville, Diageo Professor of Organizational Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School (UK).

Participating in this representative conference provided an opportunity for Olga Karpova to share experiences with colleagues from around the world and find new directions for international partnerships that will contribute to the improvement of KROK Business School's educational programs.
