Developing Operational Leadership: KROK Business School Conducted Corporate Training for the PwC Lviv SDC Team

Developing leadership potential together with leading market experts. KROK Business School conducted the "Operational Leadership" corporate training for the PwC Lviv SDC team.

Over two intensive days, lecturer Olena Halushko worked with 50 managers from financial consulting, audit, and legal practices. The training took place in a two-group format with full immersion into the three key pillars of a leader: people, processes, and results.

The program was highly practical and focused on addressing the following managerial challenges:

  • Micromanagement vs. empowerment. Participants analyzed in practice how to find the right balance, especially when the team is working under high workloads and goals need to be set without restricting initiative.
  • The art of difficult feedback. Managers practiced feedback tools in non-standard conditions. They learned to constructively manage colleagues' emotional reactions, provide honest peer-to-peer feedback while maintaining a professional tone, and support newly appointed leaders facing the pressure of expectations.
  • More than just "nice words." A separate session focused on how to turn positive reinforcement into an effective tool that genuinely reinforces an employee's strengths, rather than sounding like just another formality.

The culmination of the training was a session of "mindful silence." It was a time for deep reflection, after which each participant walked away with a clear personal commitment regarding what exactly they will start doing differently in their work with the team.

KROK Business School is proud to collaborate with PwC Lviv SDC and is thrilled to see a systemic business purposefully investing in the emotional intelligence and managerial maturity of its operational leaders.
