By managing emotions - to effective business performance

KROK Business School continues to expand the geography of corporate business education, and for the first time implemented training in Mariupol. So, on September 18, MTL - Maritime Logistics (Mariupol), which provides ship-owners with a comprehensive service for managing sea vessels, held a seminar "Emotional intelligence for managers and employees".

The topic of emotional intelligence is becoming more and more in demand in business, because modern business leaders understand that not only the level of development of professional skills of employees affects the overall results, but also the personal qualities, skills and characteristics of employees. The CEO and staff of the company, with business instructor, associate professor Oksana Sedashova, mastered new knowledge about emotional intelligence in the business environment, found their strengths and weaknesses, learned empathy and non-violent communicative influence, wondered why they feel different emotions or feelings and how it affects the results of work, and learned to think and act proactively.

The exploration of problem areas before the start of the training and interactive teaching methods in the training made it possible to make adult learning informal and easy, albeit quite transformative. Ahead of the participants will be the completion of homework with verification and feedback from a business instructor, individual recommendations for the development of the structural components of the emotional intelligence of employees, polishing and training of skills.

According to the participants' feedback, it was possible to better understand the topic of emotional intelligence, to structure their previously acquired ideas about the meaning of emotions and self-management, to get to know themselves and colleagues better, and the trainer created an inspiring atmosphere in which the training was interesting and productive.
