On November 15, 2025, the Business School KROK hosted a meeting of the Business Club on the topic “Business Security in Domestic and Foreign Markets.”
The event speakers were:
- Olena Tkachenko, Deputy General Director of the consulting company SIDKON
- Andriy Portnyagin, Head of the Economic Security Department at Business Security Group LLC
During the two-hour meeting, participants had the opportunity to engage in an in-depth discussion of issues that are currently crucial for the stable operation of modern businesses. Special attention was given to the fact that the concept of business security has long gone beyond the traditional “security service” and now includes strategic thinking, systematic risk management, analytics, and personnel work.
Much focus was placed on how businesses can adapt to modern challenges, minimize internal threats, and build a culture of responsibility within the organization. The speakers outlined key foreign trade risks, shared competitive intelligence tools, and presented practical cases that highlight the importance of thorough partner verification. The meeting also revealed how to integrate
economic security functions into a company’s strategic management and what steps are necessary to build an effective protection system.
Participants actively engaged in discussions, asked questions, and shared their own experiences, making the event a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and addressing the pressing challenges faced by Ukrainian businesses today.
