Against the war. Women's power of Luhansk region

Oksana Sedashova, associate professor of KROK Business School, international ambassador for creativity in Ukraine, took part as an invited speaker at the forum for women entrepreneurs of Luhansk region who have moved their business or plan to rebuild "Despite the war. Women's power of Luhansk Region". The event took place in Kyiv on April 5-6, 2024.

Forum "Despite the war. The Women's Power of Luhansk region" aims to unite women, provide them with support and tools for business development even in difficult times of war. The initiator and organizer of the Forum is the public organization "Zrostai Foundation" with the support of the Center for International Private Entrepreneurship (СIPE).

During the forum, women entrepreneurs immersed themselves in key topics - entrepreneurship, leadership, recovery and opportunities in war conditions, and in two days in a circle of like-minded people, they gained new knowledge, inspiration, confidence to develop their businesses and orientation to search for new opportunities.

Oksana Sedashova spoke on the topic "Psychology of creative thinking. Sustainability", telling about how:

  • learn to be resilient
  • find out which thoughts reduce confidence and destroy supports within yourself
  • to form an adequate perception of problems and learn to formulate them effectively
  • to activate one's own creative potential to solve problems.

It's great when women come together in communities and in a safe circle to receive support, quality practical knowledge for business development. KROK Business School supports similar initiatives and contributes to the development of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship, as well as women's entrepreneurship and leadership, in particular from regions affected by the occupation of the Russian invaders.
