Victoria Polischuk

BSK instructor, lawyer, mediator, expert in labor law, human rights, and European social standards; Head of the Labor Law Committee of the Ukrainian National Bar Association (UNBA); Director of the Center for Labor Law and Social Security of the Higher School of Advocacy of UNBA; official representative of UNBA in the Republic of Cyprus.

Her professional career began in the field of tax law at the law firm Kapital, followed by work at a law office in Paris. A significant stage of her professional activity was connected with the state concern Ukroboronprom, where she represented the interests of more than 120 enterprises of Ukraine’s defense industry.

In 2014, she co‑founded her own law practice specializing in labor, tax, commercial, information law, and dispute resolution. Since 2015, she has been actively engaged in legal education and social initiatives, including a legal literacy course for internally displaced persons in cooperation with CrimeaSOS, as well as creating the media project “JurFAQ” and the legal platform “Dovirytyel.”

Since 2020, she has chaired the UNBA Labor Law Committee. For her professional activity and contribution to the development of the bar self‑governance, she has been awarded honorary distinctions of the UNBA: “Outstanding Lawyer of Ukraine” and “Defender of the Bar.” She is also a member of the UNBA Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution and an international mediator, holding international accreditation from CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, UK) and IMI (International Mediation Institute).

Victoria specializes in labor rights during wartime, rights of internally displaced persons, gender equality, non‑discrimination, rights of military personnel and veterans, application of the European Social Charter and practice of the European Committee of Social Rights, mediation, and dispute resolution in companies and with employees. She is the author of numerous analytical materials and studies on labor rights of IDPs, protection of migrant children’s rights, gender equality in pay, human rights in the Armed Forces, and international standards of the Council of Europe.

She is a tutor and adapter of national courses within the Council of Europe HELP Program, including:

  • Human Rights in the Armed Forces
  • Discrimination and Combating Racism, Xenophobia, Homophobia, and Transphobia
  • Gender Equality and Gender Mainstreaming
  • Labor Law

She also contributed to the translation and adaptation of Council of Europe courses on anti‑discrimination and mental health.

In 2025–2026, she actively cooperates with institutions of the Council of Europe, the Higher School of Public Administration, the National School of Judges of Ukraine, the Coordination Center for Legal Aid Provision, and international organizations in the fields of human rights, labor law, and mediation.

She is a speaker at international conferences and professional forums in Ukraine and EU countries, conducting trainings for lawyers, civil servants, judges, HR specialists, and businesses on labor law, conflict management, mediation, gender equality, team psychological safety, and non‑discrimination.

She has practical experience in implementing international grant and educational projects, cooperating with programs in the fields of IDP support, women’s rights, access to justice, and social protection.

Victoria graduated from the National University of Kyiv‑Mohyla Academy (Master of Law) and KROK University (Master of Mediation and Conflict Management). She holds professional certificates in European law, labor law, mediation, and human rights.
