Employees of the KROK Business School - deputy director, head of the MBA program Olena Rudavka and associate professor Oksana Syedashova - presented Ukrainian business education at the 31st International Conference of CEEMAN - the International Association for the Development of Management in Dynamic Societies (Slovenia, Bled), which was held in Almaty, in Kazakhstani. The conference was attended by participants from 25 countries who presented experienced business schools and universities of management from Europe and Asia, including India and China.
The host was Almaty Management University, which is an entrepreneurial, socially responsible university cooperating with more than 150 universities and associations around the world.
The conference was held under the slogan "Leadership for a Sustainable World" and this means that today business education around the world is focused on training socially responsible entrepreneurs and managers who strive to form a sustainable society.
During the conference, the participants took part in numerous panel discussions, which were devoted to the construction of a Sustainable World, the experience of achieving the goals of sustainable development in Asia, the quality of modern business education and its orientation to the needs of entrepreneurs, responsible research, the integration of the direction of sustainability into the educational process of business schools - introduction with best practices, "green intelligence" and the role of Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies in the ethical achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. A special role was assigned to the issue of creativity and innovation, as well as the development of a certain set of skills that are necessary for students, teachers, and entrepreneurs to successfully achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
The conference provided an opportunity to properly represent Ukraine in the global space of business education, to show the potential of Ukraine, as well as to establish business contacts with representatives of educational institutions of Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Romania, Poland, India, China, Kyrgyzstan, China, Hungary with the aim of creating joint educational programs, conducting research and sharing experience in the field of management.
