Training workshop «STRATEGY Developed by the team»

Targeted Audience:

  • Owners/founders of small and medium-sized businesses.
  • C-level managers, heads of departments/divisions
  • HR directors and managers

The purpose of the program:

  • To provide participants with systematic knowledge and practical tools for independently conducting strategic sessions, their individual types or elements, or workshops on various topics.
  • Participants should leave with the understanding "now I know how/can do it" in their companies.
  • To provide a level of understanding of the organization of the strategic process, sufficient for qualified decision-making regarding invitations of external providers to hold strategic sessions, for conducting an effective and qualified dialogue with such providers, monitoring the quality of their services.

PROGRAM

The course consists of 4 webinars, small homework assignments and Q&A sessions.

 

Webinar 1.

  • Not for all the money in the world: the specifics of strategy development for medium-sized businesses
  • Strategic session as a strategy development format.
  • What to prepare for: stages and timeline of the strategic process.
  • We choose a practical model of strategizing and/or future business planning depending on the situation and tasks of the company.
  • Setting strategic goals. Goal setting frames.

 

Webinar 2.

Question-and-answer session on the issue of determining strategic goals (based on the results of the DZ)

Educational part:

  • Preparation for strategy development:
    • What we go into the stratsession with: a list of documents and artifacts
    • Analytical information for stratsession: what exactly is needed and where to get it?
    • Team: which employees should be invited to participate in the session?
  • Holding a strategic session:
    • Selection and role of the moderator
    • Key organizational points

 

Webinar 3.

Educational part:

  • Basic algorithms (stages) of conducting a strategic session
  • Key tools of strategy (first part)
    • The brand's mission/vision or DNA
    • Vision/vision
    • Analytical tools for analyzing the external environment
    • Segmentation of the target audience
    • SWOT analysis as a basic framework: how to do it correctly?

 

Webinar 4.

Question-and-answer session on strategy tools (based on DZ)

Educational part:

  • Key strategy tools (second part)
    • Customer-value series and value proposition
    • Matrices as a way of focusing strategy
    • Road map and action plan
    • Soft methods of supporting strategic choices
  • Bonus: life hacks from express strategy
  • Implement: the first steps in implementing the strategy
