Creation of the Advisory Board of the master's program "Mediation and conflict resolution" is a successful practice in developed countries of the world. The Mediation Advisory Board is a voluntary association that operates on the basis of the board's regulations. The Board's activities will contribute to the implementation of the best global practice in the field of mediation and conflict resolution in the renewal of the "Master of Mediation and Conflict Resolution" program, the implementation of modern teaching methods for the next generations of students, and will help to better respond to the needs of society.
The first meeting of the Board was devoted to the discussion of the content of the educational program "Mediation and conflict resolution", as well as to the search for proposals for improving scientific activity in the field of mediation and conflict management and integrating relevant topics into the process of preparation of master's degree theses.
During the meeting, the members of the council participated in the discussion of issues related to the relevance of the program, spoke about the possibilities of improving the pre-diploma practice of applicants and the organization of international activities. Additional questions that arose during the meeting were sent to Board members in the form of an online survey.
We are sure that maintaining relations with key stakeholders, namely graduates of the program and involving them in active cooperation will contribute to the improvement of the educational program and the field of "Mediation and conflict resolution" as a whole.
We are grateful to the members of the Advisory Board for their active participation and concern, and we hope for fruitful cooperation. See you soon!
