The EnergoSvydomi project is a state support initiative for the installation of solar panels and energy storage systems. For the past 2.5 years, Russia has been continuously attacking Ukraine’s energy system. To counter this terror, everyone must be energy-conscious and use opportunities to provide their homes or businesses with alternative energy sources.
The Ukrainian government has developed a package of programs for private households, condominiums, housing cooperatives, and entrepreneurs to install renewable energy sources, including solar panels and storage systems.
The state offers opportunities for private households, apartment buildings, and businesses to:
- Install solar panels, energy storage systems, wind turbines, and other renewable energy sources;
- Receive financial support for the purchase and installation of equipment;
- Ensure their homes and businesses have energy even in case of power grid failures;
- Reduce energy consumption from the grid, thereby protecting themselves from potential energy crises and power outages.
Through the development of distributed generation, people and businesses will gain access to affordable financial resources for purchasing energy equipment. For program participants, all procedures related to construction, commissioning, and connecting generation facilities to the grid are simplified as much as possible. Consumers can participate in energy production by installing their own generating units.
Who can benefit from the state programs?
- Private households that want to reduce their dependence on the centralized power grid. Citizens can get interest-free loans for the installation of solar panels and energy storage systems, with the possibility of borrowing up to 480,000 UAH for 10 years.
- Condominiums and housing cooperatives aiming to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings can receive compensation of up to 1 million UAH for solar stations and up to 2 million UAH for heat pumps. The state covers up to 70% of the cost of energy efficiency equipment for the building.
- Small and medium-sized enterprises can obtain loans of up to 150 million UAH at 5-7-9% interest rates for the development of ecological energy solutions.
How to participate in the program?
- Confirm eligibility for state support.
- Prepare the necessary documents and submit them to the authorized institutions.
- Sign a financing agreement.
- Choose equipment and contractors for its installation.
- Receive a grant or preferential loan.
