May 14, 2020 KROK Business School (Ukraine) together with the Center for Mediation and Law "Parasat" (Kazakhstan) held a joint meeting to discuss further plans for the development of mediation. This cooperation takes place within the framework of the Memorandum signed between Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by Olga Karpova, Director of KROK Business School, Oksana Sedashova and Victoria Polishchuk, instructors of KROK Business School.
Gulmaidan Urozbaeva, Director of the Parasat Mediation and Law Center from Kazakhstan took part in the meeting.
At the meeting, the parties shared their experience in the development of mediation in each country, discussed the legal regulation of mediation in Kazakhstan and Ukraine, the responsibility of mediators, existing mediation practices, and voiced problematic issues of registering mediators, developing joint research and participating in international mediation events.
The result of our meeting was the definition of priority joint plans for the development of mediation between the two countries.
